Vitalguard TPS (Telephone Preference Service)
Vitalguard ensures that every call your business makes is screened
against the constantly updated TPS register. The TPS register
is a national database of people who have elected not to receive
any kind of telemarketing calls. The legislation currently in
force requires all telemarketing companies to screen their data
against this register before making any calls. Failure to comply
with this legislation could result in legal action being taken
against your "customers" company and a fine of £5,000
per complaint!
Because Vital Telephone stores the entire TPS database on its
network, it makes it easy for our customers to comply. Each
time a call centre dials a number, we screen it automatically
against the database. If the call is prohibited we send an automated
message back to the caller to inform them and drop the call.
This gives you complete peace of mind that whatever sources
of data you are using, they will be immediately compliant. Vitalguard
is also fully compliant with mobile phones, so even home/mobile
workers can screen their calls effectively.
